Our Diagnostic Services
Using our in-house lab, we are happy to serve Torrance and Carson with advanced diagnostic tools and techniques and provide a quick and accurate diagnosis of your pet's condition.
- Radiography (Digital X-Rays)
Using a radiograph (digital x-ray), we can examine your pet's internal systems to reveal information that may be invisible from the outside.
Radiography is painless, non-invasive and safe for your pet. Because the level of radiation exposure required to perform radiography is very low, even pregnant pets and very young pets can undergo this procedure.
Radiographs can be used to evaluate organs and bones, diagnosing conditions like chronic arthritis, broken bones, bladder stones, spinal cord diseases and some tumors.
- Ultrasound
With ultrasound imaging, we expose part of the body to high-frequency sound waves to produce images of the inside of the body.
Since we capture ultrasound images in real-time, we are able to see your pet's structures and the movement of their internal organs as well as the blood flow through their blood vessels.
- ECG
We use the IDEXX Cardiopet ECG device to conduct electrocardiogram (ECG) tests. These tests allow us to measure the electrical activity of your pet's heart in real time.
This allows us to detect abnormal heart rhythms, heart disease and previous heart attacks. Not only that, but our advanced equipment allows for a more comfortable experience for your pet, and more responsive results.
